Washington County Reading Day!

Washington County Free Library presents Reading Day from 10am-2pm. Parade, magic, free books, local authors, entertainment and more!

Schedule of Events: 10:15am - Animal Parade - Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal for the parade that will take them to and around the author tables. The parade marshal will highlight some authors names and book titles during the parade. 10:30am-12:30pm - Mother's Day/Reading Day crafts for kids. 10:45am - Authors talk to audience between end of parade and beginning of the magic show. 11:00am - Magic Show with Michael T. 11:30am - Guest Speaker - nationally renowned children's book author and illustrator - Jarrett Krosoczka. 12:15pm - Authors talk to audience between end of parade and beginning of Hot Soup Trio performance. 12:30pm - Hot Soup Trio - Music. 1:30pm - Magic with Michael T. 2:00pm - Teen Idol performance.
