United Way "Cycle United" Event
Feb 11, 2012 -- Feb 11, 2012This unique fundraising event from 7a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley Mall brings together the area's top cycling instructors and gyms to teach eight hours of cycling to benefit United Way. Last year the event raised over $30,000 for the community!
LET'S RIDE!
United Way of Washington County "Cycle United" is an indoor cycling event aimed at raising funds for the commuunity while giving people a way of getting active and exercising. The event is broken up into eight separate 45-minute classes geared toward beginning riders. So, if you've never cycled indoors and worry that you won't be able to keep up - don't worry - you have complete control of your ride and workout. Riders can take any cycling class during event hours from 7a.m. - 2 p.m.
HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?
- Form a team! Recruit people from your business, school, sports team, family, friends, or community group.
- Ride Solo! You don't have to form a team to cycle. You can pick an hour (or more) to ride and United Way will have a place for you.
- Domnate to a team member or the event
