Formed in 1986, the Deafnet Association promotes the concerns that affect the deaf and hearing impaired. The association is supported by local contributions from people interested in making our community accessible to the Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Deafnet receives no federal or state funding, but is supported by individual and organization donations, fundraising events and interpretating fees. These funds help maintain the quality and quantity of services.
